Website sex offenders
We joined Facebook in August, 2009, and without warning, our page was disabled in December.
After many emails with Facebook, in May, 2010 our FB page was finally reinstated. If you haven't done so yet, we would like to invite you to join us on Facebook (click our "Like" button below).
The website allows members of the public to identify sex offenders living, working, or attending an institution of higher learning in the Commonwealth.
The public can also obtain information on Level 2 and 3 offenders at their local police department, or by contacting us directly.

The Virginia State Police has not considered or assessed the specific risk that any sex offender displayed on this web site will commit another offense or the nature of any future crimes that may be committed. Only information on registered sex offenders allowed to be disclosed under Virginia law appears on this web site.
Virginia law does not allow offenses other than the crimes for which the convicted sex offender is required to register to be disclosed here. Information pertaining to schools, parks and street map data is obtained with permission of and through a license agreement with Service Objects.
